The wait is almost over, and we couldn’t be more excited to announce the launch of Prison Season 5 on ExodusMC! Set to release this Saturday, August 15th, 2026, at 3 PM EST, this brand new season is packed with fresh content, exciting new systems, and major improvements designed to deliver our biggest and best Prison season yet.
Following another incredible season, we've focused on enhancing progression, refining the overall gameplay experience, and introducing more rewarding ways to grind, compete, and climb the leaderboards. Whether you're returning to defend your position, racing to become the richest player, or beginning a brand new adventure, there's something for everyone in Prison Season 5.
What’s New in Prison Season 5?
Private Mines Overhaul
One of the biggest additions this season is our completely redesigned Private Mines system.
Your private mine is now fully customizable with an extensive range of upgrades, unlockable mine worlds, and exciting progression systems. Purchase upgrades using the brand new Mine Tokens currency, discover random mine events while mining, and continue expanding your mine as you progress through the season.
Private Mines are now more interactive, rewarding, and feature-packed than ever before.
Enchant Mastery
Take your favourite enchants beyond their normal limits with the new Enchant Mastery system.
Once an enchant reaches its maximum level, you'll be able to master it to permanently increase its activation chance. This creates another long-term progression path while making every enchant even more rewarding to invest in.
Spirits
Our popular Spirits system arrives on Prison!
Collect a wide variety of Spirits, level them up, roll powerful traits, forge upgrades, and rebirth them to unlock even stronger permanent boosters. Spirits provide another exciting progression system that rewards long-term grinding and optimization.
Research System
Introducing the brand new Research progression system.
While mining, you'll discover Fossils that can be used to unlock Research Tiers. Each tier provides valuable boosters, exclusive rewards, and permanent progression bonuses, giving players another rewarding system to master throughout the season.
Miracle Cubes
Prepare to discover one of the most unique progression systems yet.
Collect Miracle Cube Fragments while playing and use them to unlock slots inside your Miracle Cube. Progress through different paths, uncover hidden rewards, and work your way towards exclusive prizes that can only be obtained through this brand new system.
Economy Improvements
We've carried out extensive testing and balancing to create our strongest Prison economy to date.
Every major progression system has been adjusted to provide a long-lasting and enjoyable grind. Our goal is to ensure players don't become overpowered within the first few days while still rewarding consistent activity throughout the entire season.
