A new era of ExodusMC Prison is almost here! We are incredibly excited to announce the launch of Prison Season 6, releasing on Saturday, October 10th, 2026, at 3 PM EST. Season 6 marks one of the biggest revamps Prison has ever received, with huge parts of the realm rebuilt from the ground up to deliver a completely fresh experience.
This season introduces an entirely new Prison Core, a completely revamped Private Mines experience, brand new Pickaxe Enchants, Mine Bosses, Companions, progression changes, major economy improvements, and countless reworked systems. We've taken everything we've learned from previous seasons and used it to create a smoother, more rewarding, and more feature-packed Prison experience from the moment you enter your first mine through to the end-game grind.
Whether you're racing through progression, expanding your Private Mine, building your fortune, collecting powerful upgrades, or competing for the top spot, there's more to discover than ever before. Here's a look at some of the massive changes arriving in Prison Season 6!
What’s New in Prison Season 6?
Brand New Prison Core
At the heart of Season 6 is our completely new Prison Core.
We've introduced a brand new, fully packet-based Prison system designed around performance, progression, and providing a much smoother gameplay experience. This new core forms the foundation of the entire Prison realm and allows us to introduce more advanced systems, unique mechanics, and exciting features throughout the season.
With a huge focus on reducing lag and improving performance, you'll be able to spend more time mining, upgrading, and progressing while enjoying a smoother Prison experience than ever before.
Revamped Private Mines
Your Private Mine has become one of the most important parts of your Prison journey.
Our brand new Private Mines System has been built with performance and customization at its core. Upgrade and expand your mine as you progress, customize it to suit your playstyle, and continue building towards increasingly powerful upgrades throughout the season.
You'll also be able to set taxes, add friends, and customize different aspects of your Private Mine, allowing you to create your own mining environment while working your way towards the top.
Brand New Pickaxe Enchants
Your Pickaxe is receiving a massive upgrade for Season 6.
We're introducing a completely new collection of Pickaxe Enchants, each designed to make mining more exciting and rewarding. Explore a range of powerful new enchants featuring incredible animations and unique effects as they activate throughout your grind.
But unlocking enchants is only the beginning. Use your enchants to progress through Enchant Mastery, earn Mastery Points, and spend those points on powerful upgrades that allow you to enhance your mining experience even further.
Mine Bosses
Mining has become even more rewarding with the introduction of our brand new Mine Bosses System.
Unlike traditional shared bosses, Mine Bosses are now individual to each player. Your boss requires you to mine a specific number of blocks to defeat it, meaning you can progress through your own boss encounters while continuing your normal Prison grind.
Successfully defeat these powerful bosses and you'll earn a range of unique rewards, giving you another reason to keep mining and progressing throughout the season.
Companions
You don't have to take on the Prison grind alone anymore!
Introducing brand new Companions, a completely new collection and progression system that allows you to discover unique companions to join you throughout your adventure.
Open Companion Crates using Money or ExoCredits and discover which Companions you can find. Build your collection, hunt for your favourites, and take your new Companion friends with you as you progress through Prison Season 6.
Economy Improvements
With such a massive Prison revamp comes an equally important overhaul to the economy.
We've made extensive economy changes across Season 6 to ensure all of the new progression systems work together properly. Our goal is to deliver a fun, grindy, and OP Prison economy while still providing long-lasting progression throughout the entire season.
You'll continue becoming increasingly powerful as you progress, but there will always be another upgrade, milestone, enchant, or objective waiting for you as you work towards the end game.
