We're incredibly excited to announce the launch of Gens Season 25 on ExodusMC! Releasing on Saturday, September 26th, 2026, at 3 PM EST, our milestone 25th season of Gens brings another action-packed map filled with brand new systems, fresh content, progression improvements, and plenty of exciting features to discover.
For Season 25, we've continued expanding the different ways you can progress, build your island, earn rewards, and compete against other players. From managing your own town with Mayors and hunting down limited-time Power Ups to completing Contracts, rolling Player Perks, and entering the daily ExoCredits Jackpot, there's always something new to work towards.
Whether you've been with us throughout our previous Gens seasons or you're joining the realm for the very first time, prepare your island team and get ready for the grind. Here's a look at some of the biggest features arriving in Gens Season 25!
What’s New in Gens Season 25?
Mayors
Build, manage, and grow your very own town with our brand new Mayors System!
Elect a Mayor to lead your town and begin developing a completely new passive progression system. Your Mayor can hire Employees who work for your town and generate valuable currencies and rewards over time.
Continue levelling up your town, expand your workforce, and improve your progression as your Employees generate more rewards. Mayors introduce an entirely new way to grow your island while you continue grinding elsewhere on the realm.
Power Ups
Keep your eyes open while exploring the Gens worlds because a powerful reward could appear at any moment!
Our brand new Power Ups System introduces temporary boosters that can randomly spawn throughout configured areas of the realm. When a Power Up appears, players will need to race towards it, with the first player to claim it receiving its limited-time booster.
Different Power Ups provide different benefits, so stay alert and make sure you're the first one there when they appear!
Contracts
Contracts are back with a completely new and improved system for Season 25.
Our brand new Contracts System gives you additional objectives to complete while progressing through the realm. Take on different Contracts, complete their requirements, and earn a range of unique rewards for your efforts.
With a much more refined system than before, Contracts provide another rewarding progression path alongside your normal Gens grind.
ExoCredits Jackpot
Feeling lucky? Our brand new Jackpot System gives everyone the opportunity to win ExoCredits!
Players can enter the Jackpot for FREE, giving everyone an equal chance of taking home the prize. With regular Jackpot opportunities throughout the realm, you'll always have another chance to test your luck and potentially walk away with ExoCredits.
There's no cost to enter, so make sure you don't miss your chance!
Quests
Our previous quest system has been replaced with a completely new Quests System for Season 25.
Complete a variety of objectives across the realm as you progress through your adventure. The new system has been designed to provide a more rewarding experience, with increasingly exclusive rewards available as you complete more Quests.
Whether you're farming, mining, progressing your generators, or exploring the realm's other systems, there will be plenty of objectives to complete along the way.
Player Perks
Introducing a completely new way to customize your progression with Player Perks!
Roll for unique Perks that provide a range of different boosts to help you throughout the season. Every roll gives you a chance to discover something new, allowing you to hunt for the perfect Perk to complement your playstyle.
You'll also be able to claim a Free Perk Roll every 12 hours, giving everyone regular opportunities to test their luck and discover a powerful new boost.
Level Generator Fuel
Level Generators have received important progression and balancing changes for Season 25.
Level Generators have been nerfed to better fit the overall economy and now require Fuel to operate. Players will need to keep their generators fuelled to continue benefiting from them, adding another layer of management and progression to the system.
These changes are designed to keep Level Generators rewarding while creating a healthier and longer-lasting economy throughout the season.

- Brand new Spawn area
- Level Generators rebalanced
- Level Generators now require Fuel
- Fixed certain crops being unable to be sold
- Various bugs reported during Season 24 fixed
- Cosmetic Cases updated
- Boss Health lowered
- Crate Skip Animation fixed
- Mass opening Crates no longer closes the Crates Menu
- Range of economy improvements and balancing changes
