The wait is almost over, and we couldn’t be more excited to announce the launch of Prison Season 4 on ExodusMC! Set to release this Saturday, July 4th, 2026, at 3 PM EST, this brand new season is packed with exciting content, powerful new systems, and countless improvements designed to make this our biggest Prison season yet.
We've focused heavily on expanding progression, introducing fresh gameplay mechanics, and making the overall experience more rewarding than ever before. Whether you're racing to the top of the leaderboards, building the strongest cell, or simply enjoying a fresh start with friends, Prison Season 4 has something for everyone.
What’s New in Prison Season 4?
Hourly Bosses
One of the biggest additions this season is our brand new Bosses System.
Simply mine inside your private mine for a chance to spawn powerful hourly bosses. Defeat them to earn valuable rewards and collect Boss Skulls, a brand new currency that can be spent on permanent boss upgrades to increase your rewards and progression over time.
Every boss encounter offers exciting loot and another reason to keep mining throughout the day.
Armor System
Armor has received a complete overhaul.
Our brand new armor system introduces Armor Skins, Perks, Enchants, and a variety of unique armor sets to unlock and upgrade. Each set offers different bonuses, allowing you to customize your playstyle while progressing through the season.
Collectables
Mining has become even more rewarding with the introduction of Collectables.
Discover over 20 unique collectables while mining, each providing valuable Level Experience boosters to help accelerate your progression. Duplicate collectables can also be traded with other players, adding another layer of collecting and economy to the realm.
Pickaxe Abilities
Introducing powerful new Pickaxe Abilities.
There are three unique abilities to discover, each offering exciting perks and bonuses while mining. These abilities can be obtained through grinding, crates, and lootboxes, giving players new goals to chase throughout the season.
Auto Miners
Say hello to the brand new Auto Miners.
Auto Miners continue working for you while they operate, helping generate valuable progression and rewards over time. Upgrade them to improve their efficiency and unlock even greater benefits as you continue advancing through the season.
Drills & Mine Bombs
Explosive new mining mechanics have arrived.
Drills travel throughout your mine providing a range of powerful benefits, while Mine Bombs create massive explosions that destroy large sections of your mine, rewarding you with Money and Level Experience.
These new mechanics make mining faster, more exciting, and far more rewarding.
