Get Ready for Gens Season 24 – Coming August 1st at 3PM EST!
The wait is almost over, and we couldn’t be more excited to announce the launch of Gens Season 24 on ExodusMC! Set to release this Saturday, August 1st, 2026, at 3 PM EST, this brand new season is packed with fresh content, exciting new systems, and major gameplay improvements designed to make your Gens experience better than ever before.
Following another fantastic season, we've focused on delivering smoother progression, introducing more rewarding gameplay loops, and expanding the number of ways players can build their islands and compete for the top spot. Whether you're returning to defend your position or starting a brand new adventure, there's never been a better time to jump into Gens.
What’s New in Gens Season 24?
Generator Minions
Generators are getting even more powerful with the introduction of Generator Minions.
There are three unique minions to collect:
- Speed Minions
- Fortune Minions
- Enhance Minions
Each minion provides powerful buffs to your generators, allowing you to optimise production and grow your island faster than ever before. Generator Minions can be obtained through crates, lootboxes, invasions, and many other activities throughout the season.
Invasions
One of the biggest additions this season is our brand new Invasions system.
Invasions are limited-time events where players fight waves of mobs, mine special ores, and collect exclusive materials. These materials can then be used to craft powerful rewards including exclusive minions, lootboxes, perks, and much more.
Every invasion provides another opportunity to progress while introducing exciting cooperative gameplay across the server.
Spirits
Introducing the brand new Spirits progression system.
Collect a wide variety of Spirits, level them up, and unlock powerful permanent boosters. Spirits can be forged, have their traits re-rolled, and even be rebirthed to unlock even greater potential, giving players another long-term progression path to master.
Global Cosmetics
The long-awaited Cosmetics System has officially arrived on Gens.
Open Cosmetic Cases to unlock rare and unique cosmetics that allow you to customise your appearance across the network. Hunt for incredibly rare 1-of-1 cosmetic sets and build your collection while showing off exclusive items to the community.
Auction House
Trading has never been easier.
The brand new Auction House allows players to buy and sell items using a variety of currencies. Powerful search, sorting, and filtering tools make it simple to find exactly what you're looking for while creating an active player-driven economy.
Research System
Introducing our brand new Research System.
While playing, you'll discover Fossils that can be collected inside your backpack and forged into valuable research materials. Progress through multiple research tiers to unlock powerful buffs, exclusive rewards, and permanent upgrades as you continue advancing throughout the season.

Alongside the major additions, we've included a huge range of quality-of-life improvements:
