Get Ready for Gens Season 23 – Coming June 20th at 3PM EST!
The wait is almost over, and we couldn’t be more excited to announce the launch of Gens Season 23 on ExodusMC! Set to release this Saturday, June 20th, 2026, at 3 PM EST, this brand new season is packed with major updates, exciting new systems, and countless improvements designed to make your Gens experience better than ever before.
Following another successful season, we’ve focused heavily on progression, gameplay balance, and long-term enjoyment. Whether you're returning to defend your position or starting fresh, there are more opportunities than ever to grind, progress, and climb the leaderboards.
What’s New in Gens Season 23?
Levelling Overhaul
One of the biggest updates this season is our completely revamped Levelling System.
Rather than having a single progression path, each major activity now has its own dedicated level and prestige system. This means you'll have separate progression for farming, mining, fishing, and more, creating significantly more content and long-term goals to grind towards.
Every time you prestige, you'll earn a Prestige Point which can be spent in the Prestige Point Shop to unlock powerful rewards, permanent boosters, and progression upgrades.
Brand New Generators System
We’re excited to introduce a completely new and improved Generators System.
Generators are now easier to place, manage, and upgrade than ever before. Players can stack generators, bulk purchase upgrades through simple menus, and enjoy a much smoother overall experience when growing their island economy.
This system has been designed to reduce frustration while making generators more rewarding and enjoyable to use.
Armor Overhaul
Armor has received a massive update this season.
The new armor system introduces features such as Skins, Perks, Enchants, and more. Players will have access to a variety of unique armor sets, creating new progression goals and customization opportunities throughout the season.
Leaderboard Update
Competition is changing in Gens Season 23.
Island Top rankings will now be determined by your team's Farming, Mining, and Fishing Prestiges alongside Generator Drops.
Generator Drops are accumulative, meaning your generators now contribute even more towards your island's success and leaderboard position. This creates additional strategies for teams looking to secure the top spot.
New Pets
We’re introducing a collection of brand new pets this season.
Players can obtain Farming, Mining, Fishing, and Slaying Pets, each designed to help boost progression. These pets provide level multipliers that help you gain experience faster, making them valuable companions throughout your journey.
Economy Improvements
We've made extensive economy adjustments across the entire realm.
A large number of systems have been rebalanced, outdated mechanics have been removed, and progression has been refined to create a tighter and more enjoyable economy. The result is a smoother gameplay experience where progression feels rewarding at every stage of the season.

Alongside the major updates, we've included a huge range of additional improvements:
